IRINERARY FOR KILIMANJARO TREKK AND WILDLIFE SAFARI. Day 1 Pick up at Kilimanjaro International airport, transfer to Arusha/Moshi Overnight at Lodge-Bed and breakfast. Day 2 Breakfast Transfer to Moshi if you will overnight at Arusha for leisure and preparation for the Kili climb Dinner and overnight Lodge/Hotel/Campsite Day 3 After breakfast, you make an easy start with a drive to Marangu gate, begin trek in the morning through the rain forest for 3-4 hours to Mandara Hut (2700m) Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut Day 4 Breakfast Leave the glades of the rain forest and continue trekking past Maundi Crater into open rolling moorland. The trek takes about 5-6 hrs to Horombo Hut (3720m) for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut. Day 5 Breakfast. Extra night at Horombo Hut (3720m) for acclimatization.
